Oil Boilers

Oil BoilerAre you looking for a free oil boiler? Under the Government backed Affordable Warmth Scheme, you could be eligible for a new energy efficient oil boiler at no cost to you. There are two criteria:

  • Your home has a faulty, inefficient or broken down oil boiler

  • You, or someone living with you, is in receipt of Pension Credit, Child or Working Tax Credit or one of the benefits listed below

If you think you are eligible, give our team a call on 01908 442222 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) for a confidential chat. Or drop us an email at ECO@nesltd.co.uk.

If you are not eligible but know of someone who might be, please do ask them to get in touch with us quoting your name and address. If we can help them then we will send you a £50 Amazon voucher for your help.

Based at the National Energy Centre in Milton Keynes, we have been delivering government grant schemes for the last 34 years. A new condensing oil boiler will have an efficiency of 92%, compared with 60% to 70% for older systems2.  Heating accounts for about 60% of what you spend in a year on energy bills, so installing an energy efficient boiler makes a huge difference3.

You should be eligible if you, or anyone living with you, receive one of these benefits:

  • Pension Guarantee Credit

  • Child or Working Tax Credit4

  • Working Tax Credit4

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

  • Income Support

  • Universal Credit4

Note 1: For most homes, we can install a new oil boiler at no cost to you. In smaller homes or where the existing heating system is in poor condition, the boiler grants may not be enough to make the work free and a contribution may be required.  However, we will confirm this with a free no obligation survey.

Note 4: If you are in receipt of a Tax Credit or Universal Credit, your grant eligibility will be subject to a maximum income amount which is based on how many adults and children live in your home - and is up to £36,600.
