We have today received further guidance from DCLG regarding the exemption of listed buildings from the requirement to have an Energy Performance Certificate on their sale or rent. To view the Question and Answer document, please click here.

On the principle of encouraging optimum energy efficiency for all buildings, we are disappointed that listed buildings will no longer require an EPC upon sale or rent.

National Energy Services today announced the launch of its Green Deal Online software, approved by DECC for Green Deal assessments in England, Wales and Scotland.

Qualified Green Deal Advisors who are working for certified assessor organisations can now create domestic Green Deal Advice Reports using NES's Green Deal Online software. They can use the software to advise householders on the best package of energy efficient measures to reduce their energy bills and make their home warmer.
