As you may be aware, The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) issued a consultation on the future of ECO on 5th March 2014.  Below, we summarise what we see as the main points of interest to installers and Domestic Energy Assessors.

The first two Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation road shows were extremely productive with a lot of great feedback to use to fine-tune our planned diploma structure.

We are off to Birmingham on Monday for round three, bringing the Midlands news about our planned new Diplomas – if you are nearby you can still book a place.  All the road shows are free and will be hosted by Hilary Grayson and NES Managing Director, Austin Baggett.

As you may be aware, we have recently developed two new qualifications to be released very soon - The Diploma in Residential Surveying and The Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation. Now, to bring you all the up-to-date information on the development of these qualifications including course structure and cost, we have decided to hit the road! Over the coming weeks we will be holding a number of road shows across the country and would like to invite you along.

Following our previous communications about VAT no longer being chargeable on Landmark Central Register Fees from 1st December 2013, we are pleased to announce that we can now accept requests for a rebate on the VAT paid on these fees from 1st January 2010 onwards.

We would like to start by saying thank you to everyone who has completed our qualification survey; it has proved very insightful and we have used your responses to help shape the qualification frameworks.    

As we move forward with the qualification development, the unknowns are gradually becoming clearer and we hope to have all the information that’s important to you, such as costs and payment plans, course structure, and course content, finalised and ready to announce in the very near future.
