New SAVA surveyor qualification now available in Yorkshire

To satisfy popular demand, the SAVA School of Surveying is taking its new Diploma in Surveying and Valuation to Yorkshire.

The Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation is recognised as a direct entry route into the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at Associate member level.

Previously only taught in Milton Keynes, the diploma is now available for booking in the north of England. The course is scheduled to start in October 2015 and will run at the Think Low Carbon Centre, based on Barnsley College’s Honeywell site.

Training comprises a combination of face-to-face and distance learning and is available to new entrants as well as those with previous relevant experience. It is designed to fit in around an existing job so you can qualify while working. Learners with a good work ethic can expect to qualify in 15-24 months.

The SAVA School of Surveying was created to address the skills shortage in the surveying industry and offers a unique entry pathway for those without a qualifying RICS degree.

The SAVA School of Surveying is holding two open days this July, one in Milton Keynes on July 14 and another in Barnsley on July 21. These open days will provide an opportunity to meet industry leaders and find out more about the career prospects post-qualification.
