Latest news for Property Professionals candidates

Update: see our Home Inspector qualification page for more information.

We have been very careful to give candidates advice which is both accurate and helpful in this difficult time. We have been in full consultation with ABBE, the awarding body, while communicating with candidates. We have a Centre Visit planned for this Friday to obtain further advice from ABBE.

We have been careful not to rush forward too quickly with alternative training and assessment solutions, and the ones presented to date have been done entirely as a result of feedback from candidates who have contacted us.

Here is our latest news.

Assessment

Portfolio Review – If you think that your portfolio is complete then you can bring your portfolio to a portfolio review day. An internal verifier (IV) will review your portfolio. If, in the opinion of the IV, your portfolio is complete, it will be passed to the External Verifier.

Please note, the first day we have booked is to coincide with the Fast Track Weekend. We will provide other dates. We can only review your portfolio on the Fast Track weekend if you have booked for that weekend. If you have not booked, please wait for other dates - we will release these as soon as we can.

There is more information on the link above.

Assessment Only – if you know that your portfolio is not complete, you do not need a formal review first. We can offer an Assessment Only package. The Assessment package costs £925+VAT and includes:

  • Transfer of registration to SAVA from other assessment centre
  • Assessment of 10 HCRS (note: there will be a discount of £37.50 for every report which, in the view of the Internal Verifier, is complete)
  • 1 of the 10 HCRs to be an Accompanied Inspection (You must undertake an HCR with SAVA even if you have already done this with your existing assessment centre)
  • Access to SAVA’s online assessment centre and HCR software
  • Online training in the use of our software

For a booking form, please click here.

Please note that the Assessment Only package excludes any training. For more more information on any of the above please contact 01908 442111.

Update for Domestic Energy Assessors

We are going through the first batch of Portfolios now. We are learning a lot about the PP+ assessment process.

Following consultation with the External Verifier from the awarding body, we will release another review date as soon as we can.

Update for Commercial Energy Assessors

We have no more places for the first portfolio review date this coming Friday. Again, following consultation with the External Verifier from the awarding body, we will release another review date very soon.

If you are already qualified Non Domestic L3, then we do have spaces on the next Level 4 intensive training and assessment programme. Call Jayne Rourke and the sales team on 01908 442111.
