Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation: price change from 1st January 2016

We have been running the Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation for nearly 18 months and have reviewed many aspects of the course.

To ensure the training you receive is of the highest quality, we have made several changes including the addition of new course days, extra textbooks and optional sessions to help during the assessment process. We have also, on request, been working hard to match learners with mentors in their area to provide invaluable on-the-job surveying experience.

For these reasons, the diploma will be subject to a price increase which will take effect from 1st January 2016.

All course places booked from this date will be charged at the increased price of £11,940 (inclusive of VAT) for full paying individuals.  To benefit from the current price of £11,400 you will need to submit your booking form and deposit payment for any available course prior to the 31st December 2015.

This new price includes:

  • All relevant course materials including textbooks
  • 24 training days in either Milton Keynes or Barnsley
  • Assessment including accompanied inspection
  • Access to online learning resources
  • Awarding Body (ABBE) registration fees and two sittings of the condition and valuation exams
  • Access to our e-portfolio system and report writing software
  • Access to iSurv, UWE Construction website and Rightmove Plus for 2 years
  • One year's membership to the Residential Property Surveyors Association
  • One year's membership to the SAVA Scheme for Surveyors

As of 1st January 2016, the following price reductions will be available for relevant learners which will replace the existing options B & D:

  • £300 reduction for active members of the NHER Accreditation Scheme.
The RdSAP Masterclass module will be optional for these learners.
  • £1500 reduction for those who can demonstrate degree level or equivalent knowledge of building pathology and building construction. To qualify for this discount, learners must pass two online tests in these areas. The Construction and Building Pathology modules will be optional for qualifying learners.
