Become an Air Conditioning Energy Assessor
We have recently launched our training and assessment options for anyone wishing to become an Air Conditioning Energy Assessor (ACEA). All our training is presented online and is therefore available at a much lower cost than most other providers: the cost for the training modules is only £415+VAT.
As part of the EPBD, air conditioning systems over 250 kW have already been assessed. From January 2011, all remaining systems over 12 kW will need to be assessed. Systems will need to be assessed every 5 years. We believe that there is an opportunity for individuals to get qualified and find another source of income.
The course enables you to build your level of knowledge and understanding in bite-sized chunks as you work your way towards the final qualification. As you complete the modules, you will be able to claim credits for many of them towards your CPD requirement. We'll assist you by providing buildings for your assessment, and once you're qualified, existing members of the NHER/SAVA schemes won't pay anything extra for their accreditation.
