Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)

The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a policy aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of
UK businesses and so mitigating the effects of climate change.

The scheme requires that all large ‘undertakings’ in the UK to undergo a mandatory assessment of their
energy use and opportunities to improve their energy efficiency across their sites by 5th December 2015
and then on-going every four years.

National Energy Services has now been approved by the Environment Agency to be an ESOS Lead Assessor
Register. If you are interested in becoming a registered Lead Assessor, we are running ESOS lead

Why become an ESOS lead assessor with NES?

ESOS Energy Audits must be carried out or reviewed by a suitably qualified Lead Energy Assessor; this
provides organisations with assurances that the savings identified are real and achievable.

National Energy Services (NES) was established as an energy rating company in 1990 and since then
95% of our business has been built around energy ratings, energy software and energy accreditation. We
are the pioneers of energy ratings and we continue to lead the field for quality and innovation.
