NES Midsummer Meet 2011

"Fantastic!" "Fun!" "Informative!" "Are you doing it next year?" and "Milton Keynes is such a lovely place" were just some of the comments that were overheard during the Midsummer Meet.

It was wonderful to have so many of our members join us at The National Energy Centre for a day packed with seminars, cycle rides, and guided walks around the Energy Park, all culminating with a very impressive BBQ and even a visit from the local Mr Whippy.

For those of you that joined us on the 13 mile Millenium Circular route  ride, click the map on the right to see the activity as tracked by Chris that shows the route and all of the vital stats relating to times, speed and pace.

Here's a selection of pictures from the day for you to enjoy. Click the thumbnail to view it full size.

Click the "Play" button to see a short clip of the riders as they pass through Great Linford park
