Energy Assessors In Scotland

In order to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing or newbuild dwellings in Scotland you must be a member of an approved organisation. The NHER accreditation scheme is an approved protocol organisation as recognised by the Scottish Building Standards.

Who can join?

Any qualified DEA or OCDEA in England and Wales can complete a free online CPD test to be able to carry out assessments in Scotland. You don’t need to have trained with NES and you can switch from another accreditation scheme at any time.

Energy Action Scotland offer training leading to accreditation. For more information, visit the EAS website or telephone 0141 226 3064.
