Energy Assessors in Northern Ireland

In order to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing or newbuild dwellings in Northern Ireland you must be a member of an approved accreditation scheme.

The NHER Accreditation Scheme has been approved to accredit Domestic Energy Assessors, Commercial Energy Assessors, and On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors to produce reports in Northern Ireland.

We also accredit Public Building Energy Assessors to produce Display Energy Certificates for public buildings.

Who can join?

Any qualified DEA, OCDEA, CEA or PBEA who holds a relevant diploma or who has been accredited by another accreditation scheme via an APEL route, can apply to join the NHER Accreditation Scheme.
