The deeper you look into the world of energy and condition ratings, the more similarities and connections you can see. In this conference, the NHER and SAVA have joined forces to bring you the most informative, detailed and up to date programme possible, exploring a range of topics of interest to all assessor types.

We have lined up expert speakers from a range of organisations at the forefront of domestic and commercial energy efficiency, including: Zero Carbon Hub, GVA Grimley, ESD, Carbon Trust, Bidwells, European Union DG TREN, Inbuilt Consulting, AHIPP, University of Oxford, ACE, National Energy Action, Birmingham City Council and many more.

Who should come?
The conference is aimed at all Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors, wherever they are accredited. You should also attend if you are working in a related profession and need to understand your energy obligations.

How to structure your conference
The opening and closing plenary sessions are open to everyone, but apart from these sessions we have arranged the two days into four distinct ‘strands’. Each relates to a different market sector, with sessions on policy, technology and the market:
  • Strand 1: Energy and Beyond The opportunities for Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors in the marketed sales sector
  • Strand 2: Working with Social Landlords to tackle Fuel Poverty New urgency and new business for Domestic Energy Assessors
  • Strand 3: The Age of Accountability Risks and rewards in the new market for Commercial Energy Assessors and Public Building Energy Assessors
  • Strand 4: Designing for a Zero Carbon Future Essential knowledge for newbuild specialists and On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor s

So, if you are a Domestic Energy Assessor, you might choose to attend the full Strand 1 programme on both days… or you might prefer to create your own bespoke conference by going to different seminars running in Strands 1, 2 or 4 on one or both days of the conference. You can mix and match – it’s your conference.
