Charity Initiative | Find out what the staff at NES are up to

Ellie Parker

At NES, we love celebrating achievements. Whether it's a company-wide success, or the success of an individual staff member, we think it should be shared. As part of our new charity initiative, we have decided to keep you abreast of any fundraising activities that NES staff are involved in. Not only will this raise awareness for their chosen charities, it will also give people the recognition they deserve.

72 Hours of Golf

On 20th June, NES Commercial Director, Lee Brooks, and Director of Business Development, Andy Flook, will be taking on the 'Longest Golf Challenge'. The team (of four in total) will be walking 72 holes of a single day! The challenge will take place at Windmill Hill Golf Club in Milton Keynes (who have very kindly offered the golf for free). With a total course length of 6388 yards they have their work cut out, so we hope you will join us in wishing them all the best.

If you support Macmillan Cancer Support and would like to help Lee, Andy and the rest of the team reach their target, please click here to visit their Just Giving page.

Midnight Moo

On 16th July, NES Key Accounts Executive, Fiona Wilson, will be joining hundreds of other women in the region for the Midnight Moo, a ten mile nighttime walk around Milton Keynes. The walk is in aid of Willen Hospice, a registered charity in Milton Keynes whose vision is to be a lasting and thriving provider of free care to all people affected by life limiting illness in the community.

This year's theme is superheroes, so if you see a herd of caped crusaders wandering the redways of Milton Keynes in the small hours of the morning on 16th July, don't be alarmed but do give them a cheer!

If you are interested in donating to Willen Hospice and would like to sponsor Fiona, please click here to visit her Just Giving page.

And remember, all monies raised will be matched by NES*.

*An annual cap will apply.
